Show and hospital
Evening all,
Well, where to start.
I've done something to my right foot, have no idea quite what. Hurts whenever i put my foot down.
Also, have hurt my right hand, a pain to type with, but there you have it.
I returned to radio last Monday and to be honest, it was an absolute blas hosting the new kitten corner show.
I played the songs i wanted to play and loads of people listened in, which was absolutely fantastic.
I can't thank you all enough for the amazing support i received, absolutely brilliant.
Last week passed by without event, until the weekend when i came down to visit family, before attending an eye appointment today.
The downside is, i had to be up at half 6 this morning.
We had a good crack on twitter last night, i got cover for the kitten corner and we were all having a good time.#
I didn't want to go to bed, i felt so untired, but by 12, i knew i had to go or i'd be in major trouble.
Yay to iPhones is all i'm saying in terms of getting up this morning.
The appointment went okay, i had an impression of my right eye taken, for a clear shell that will be fitted over the top of the eye i already have, to make it look more shaped.
I had a local surface anasthetic in the form of an eye drop to numb the eye.
It was horrible.
It worked rather quick and i temporarily lost the light perception i had until the impression was done.
It was a horrible feeling, but makes you appreciate what you have.
I know friends without any light perception at all.#
I go back in September for a fitting, that month's going to be a bit busy.
Now i'm sitting here, writing this down and feeling tired, so may try and hit bed soon.#
I've got a fully charged phone so, if sleep doesn't come, twitter time it is.
Feels good to be back here again and, i'll be around with more soon.
