Anyways, was looking after the girls at National Lacrosse tournament today, then got called to my first road traffic accident scene.
On the radio I heard motor cyclist vs car, and was fully expecting brain matters on the ground. Luckily the dude was wearing a helmet and although howling in agony, he most likely just got a closed fracture of the femur. The hardest part was to hold him still long enough so we could put the neck braces on.
And last week at the local Tesco, a guy was found collapsed on the ground, so I totally had one of those 'IT'S OKAY I'M A MEDIC' moment, therapeutic, I'm telling you.
