Present number two has arrived! Well, for the most part anyway...
So, here is the first part of the fic. I will post the second part tomorrow if I can.
So far, it is just pure cuteness and fluff. Maybe some slash later, but nothing greater than PG. Because, well, Ali will be here for the whole thing. And it's Ali Astin. Not Ali Mcsomethingrather. Can't have her messing up our Monaboyd, now can we? =p Hehe. J/K. And now, on with the fic!
It was decided that today, Valentine's Day gifts would be made for everyone.
"Everyone?" Sean asked, a bit unsure of who exactly constituted everyone.
"Everyone." Ali nodded very matter-of-factly.
Sean pulled the young girl into his lap and looked her in the eyes. "Now, Miss Ali, who is everyone?"
She furrowed her tiny brow and looked very thoughtful. She counted all the names on her fingers. "Well... There's you, mommy, Uncle Elijah, Uncle Billy, Uncle Dom, Uncle Orli, Uncle Viggo, Uncle Beanie..."
"Oh my. Alexandra, you have far too many uncles."
"That's nonsense. You can never have too many uncles! Isn't that right, Ali?"
Elijah scooped her up out of her father’s arms and placed her on his hip. “That’s right!”
“You see Sean, you’re wrong. And you know, I think too many uncles is not enough. As a matter of fact, I think Ali has just the right number of uncles. Definitely not too many. Never too many. Just like you could never have enough raspberries.”
Ali squealed with delight and buried her face in Elijah’s side. With a knowing grin, Sean just shook his head. They all knew what was coming. Elijah glanced down at her and broke into a wide grin. He lifted her above his head and blew raspberries on her soft, little belly. She flailed gleefully, her eyes shut tight with giggles.
Her bright eyes flashed as Ali squealed again. “Uncle Elijah, put me down!”
“I don’t know… Are you sure? There are still plenty of raspberries left.”
“Hehe. No, Uncle ‘Lijah, that’s ok. You can keep some. Or, or, or! You could give them to Uncle Billy and Uncle Dom! Daddy, can Uncle Billy and Uncle Dom come over? They could help me with my Valentine’s stuff! We could bake cookies and make hearts, and, and, and… And lots of other stuff!”
“Well, I don’t know… Your uncles might be very busy, Ali. They can’t just come over when you want them to.”
“Oh, but daddy,” she pouted, “I want them to come over! They’re fun!”
“Hey! Are you saying I’m not fun? Because I can be fun. I can be more fun than all of your other uncles put together!”
Ali giggled again. “No, Uncle Elijah. You’re fun too. But I want all my uncles here! Well, maybe not all of them. Just you and Uncle Dom and Uncle Billy. Yeah, that’s it! Just the…” she pauses a moment and makes little swishing motions in the air with her finger. “The five of us. Yeah, just the five of us!”
Sean wrapped his arm around his daughter and placed a kiss on her head. “Alright, sweetheart, I’ll call them.”
“Yay!”
Ali races to get the phone before Sean can even blink.
