NEED ADVICE!!!!
ok I've been presented with a problem and I couldn't really help my friend out because im looking at this situation from both sides. So here is the issue....
My friends boyfriend is always making comments to her sayin he could never see her with another man, she better not ever cheat on him, and he would never cheat on her and if he felt the need to he would tell her and blah blah blah. I guess he is starting to get really serious with her sayin that he could see himself settling down and marrying her in the future. So one night while he was sleep she figured she would check to see if he was serious about everything he was saying so she decides to go through his phone. In his sent messages she finds texts that he sent to other girls saying "I would like to see you tonight", "I would like to take you to the movies" "it would make my day if I could see you" "xoxoxox", "much love", "send me a picture of yourself" etc the next morning she confronts him about what she has found and he is at a loss for words and continues to lie even though he has been caught. Her argument is that if you have a g/f you should not be attempting to or actually going to the movies with another girl on a solo tip (which I agree with). he says that nothin ever came of any of these texts and tat he never went to the movies with another girl or met up with another girl at night. For now she is saying they are not together and he, like a typical guy, is begging her to take him back.
now im sure im probably missing some bits and pieces from her story but you guys get the basics. So her question is should she take him back or no? I was thinking she shouldnt because 1 he is a hypocrite, 2 he cannot be trusted, 3 he is a liar. but on the other hand she really loves him and he really does love her. even though he did something hella stupid i think he just wasnt really thinking and sometimes it really hard to let people go. I dont really know what she should do so I figured id ask my other friends so if you have any thoughts or input please post.
