Chapter 2: First Kiss (Uruha’s POV)
“Yu-Yutaka? What are you saying? Do you really mean that?” I asked. He smiled, nodded, and wrapped his arms around me.
“I really like you. I would love to experience more with you on a different level. And if you’re not ready, then just say so and I’ll back off.”
“No! I’m ready! It’s just..what about Yuu and Shiori? What would they think? What would they do? They could keep us from seeing each other or-“
“Shh, they wouldn’t dare. And really…You have nothing to worry about. Because no matter what we’ll be together if that’s what you want.”
I smiled at his words. They were so sincere and beautiful. I’ve never felt this way before. Such strong feelings. This must be what love feels like.
“Then what should we do? Should we tell them now before they get to close?”
“Not yet…I have an idea. I think it’ll work, just let me handle everything.”
There was a knock at my door, disturbing my moment with Yutaka. “Boys, can I come in for a second?” Shiori asked.
Yutaka moved away from me so as to hide our relationship, if he were in one yet. She walked in when I gave her the OK and sat between us.
“My relationship with Yuu doesn’t change a thing with us. You boys know that right? The only change that can happen is only change for the better. I’m sure you two will become closer.”
“I agree Takashima san.” Yutaka said with a smile and I knew just what he was thinking.
“Alright, now Yuu and I want you to come out of this room for a bit. It’s got to be boring.”
“No, we’re fine. We just thought it would be better for you two to spend more time alone while we hang out here.” I covered.
“How sweet of you boys. Thanks for being so supportive and understanding.” She hugged us both and walked out.
“What now? I feel so bad if we were to cause them to break up…” I admitted. Yutaka grabbed my hand and squeezed it.
“I know. But don’t worry, we wont have to hopefully. Just…let me take care of it alright?”
I smiled and nodded happily. I’m glad he had a plan because I have no clue what we’d do if it was up to me. “I’m thirsty, let’s go get something to drink.” I said standing up.
We walked out of my room, down the steps and my heart was crushed at the sight before me. Now I could never have Yutaka…
My sister was all over Yuu. Their make out session was sickening. All the vulgar noised and slight giggles from Shiori. God, have some class sis! I’ve never seen her like this.

Fudgecake. My plans were sort of ruined now. I didn’t think they’d take things this far. I mean sheesh, it’s only the first date. What the heck? I cleared my throat. The two adults looked up and snapped out of their daze.
“Um…” Well, that was all I could say. How awkward was this? My beloved’s sister had her hands and lips all over my brother. Could our situation get any worse?
“Oh, boys…We thought you weren’t going to be out for a while and-“
“And that give you the right to do it right here on the sofa?! I can’t believe this!” Kouyou tormed back up to his room.
“I’ll go get him…” I said, trying to get the images of those two out of my head. I opened his door and walked right in. He sat up and looked at me through tears when he heard the door click shut.
“Kou, don’t cry. You’re far too beautiful to cry. It’ll be alright, I promise. Don’t get upset.”
“But…You saw…We can never be together Yutaka. They wont let us…”
“Kouyou it’s-“
“Kouyou Takashima! What is the matter with you?! Are you trying to scare off Yuu? I thought you liked him…”
“I do! I do like Yuu! It’s..Never mind, forget it. I’m sorry.”
“Kouyou, what’s the matter. Tell me I’m your sister, I’ve always been there for you. you can share anything with me.”
“No…No I can’t. You just don’t understand how much it hurts!”
“How much what hurts?!”
I stood there silent. Watching the two siblings getting more and more upset.
“Shiori, I think it’s best if we just let him calm down. I’ll take him out for some air.” I said, wrapping my arm around her shoulder.
“It’s raining.”
“There’s an umbrella in the car. I don’t mind. Just, go back down stairs. I’ll talk to him about it.” I said, and gave her my best smile She smiled back and left me with Kouyou. But she looked back at him before closing the door.
“Let’s go sit out in the car okay? We can talk about what we’re gonna do there.”
He wiped his tears away with the back of his hand and gave a small nod. I took his hand and we walked downstairs. Yuu and Shiori were in the kitchen talking. We ignore it and walked out to the car.
We actually ran to the car. We got in the back seat. I laid against me and I geld him as comfortingly as possible. I didn’t want to see him upset like that ever again. I never wanted to see him cry again…

I relaxed in Yutaka’s arms. His warmth was all I needed right now. I no longer cared about what our siblings thought, what anyone thought. I was going to be with him. Nothing would stop me from being all his and I was gonna make sure of that. He was my first crush, first boyfriend, and he’ll be me first for many things to come.
“Thank you so much Yutaka. I really needed to get out of that house.Being in there while they…while they were…” I suddenly couldn’t bring myself to say it. It felt like it was over for me. I couldn’t be with the one I loved. While my sister gets to be with his brother.
And I’m willing to be everything I own that me and Yutaka have a stronger bond and better chemistry. We’ve had two months to get to know one another. Yes, it’s not a lot of time, but it’s more time that Shiori and Yuu have spent together.
Wait a minute…That’s right! It was me and Yutaka first! We’ve been friends longer than they’ve been seeing each other! That’s all I need to get my Yutaka…
“Kou, why are you smiling like that?” I hadn’t noticed I began smiling at my thoughts. I told him it was nothing and continued to lay against him. Being held like this felt amazing.
“Yuta?”
“Hm?”
“You were right you know. About how everything’s gonna be alright.” I said with a small smile.
He smiled back and kissed my forehead. It was my first kiss. Well, it’s not an official kiss. But I can certainly change that…
“Yutaka, can I ask you a favor?”
“Anything.”
“Will you kiss me?”
His entire face turned pink. His body even tensed up. I smiled and pulled him foward. I planted a chaste kiss on his lips and pull away.
He smiled and puled me back, crashing his lips with mine. We stayed glued like that for what seemed forever.
Until…
“Oh my god!”
This can not be happening…
