Synopsis: Young Reita is in love with his best friend (Uruha) and in an attempt to impress his frined, makes a complete fool of himself every time. To make things worse, Ururha's best frined Aoi constantly teases Reita and Uruha. They just entered their first year of high school. Can Reita tell Uruha how he feels before someone else does?

"I think I've fallen in love with you Panda." Now, I'm sure I'm dreaming. "And it would be perfectly fine if you didn't feel that same way. I just wanted to tell you that and hope we can still be close friends."
"I love you Kouyou." I said, pulling him closer.
"Kouyou? You haven't called me by my real name in years." he said with a smile. "To be honest, I actually miss it. People think my name is Uruha because of my appearance. But I remember when you gave me this nickname. I remember what you told me."
"I'll call you Uruha, because-"
"You're a beautiful person on the inside and the world should know it." he finished my sentence. "I loved you more than a friend from that day on Akira."
"More than you love Panda bears?" I asked smirking.
"Hmm, let me think..." he said with a giggle. "Of course I do. And I thought I made it pretty obvious over the years."
"We all know my childhood nickname bonkura was used for a reason." I replied.
"Yeah, you are a blockhead. But, you've always been my blockhead. My best friend. And my protector. And you want to know another secret?"
"What is it?"
"Kouji hates you so much because he claims he liked you first. He he always thought you had a crush on me."
"That's why your brother despises me? Wow, I never would have guessed. What about his girlfriend?"
"What about her?" he asked, sending us both into a laughing fit. "But yeah, he likes you."
We were silent now. Our bodies close. I held him in a tight embrace. "Now I have a silly question for you."
"Oh yeah?" he asked, eyes closed and a small smile on his lips.
"Yeah...Can I kiss you again?" I asked feeling my face heat up. He eagerly locked our lips again. We sat up and I pulled him onto my lap. He wrapped his legs around me. He pulled away with a smile.
"Does this mean I'm the girl in the relationship?"
"Definitely."
"So, I'm your girlfriend?"
"I guess so."
He nodded and attacked my lips fiercely. His weight pushing on my caused us to fall back on the bed. I was getting nervous at how intense we were getting. The room was really heating up. I never would have guessed we'd take things this far. We needed to slow down, that's what my heart and mind told me. My body said otherwise. But, I'm going to stop it here before we take it too far.
"What's wrong?" he asked as I pushed him away a bit.
"I don't want to take things too far. I mean, I do, but at the same time I don't. Like, I really REALLY do. But I don't want to rush things. You understand right?"
He sighed with a soft smiled and gave my lips a quick peck. "I understand. And I think it's sweet. Thank you." He slid off of me and climbed under the sheets. He cuddled up to me and I wrapped my arms around him while he lay his head on my chest. "I love you Rei chen."
"I love you too." I pulled him as close as possible, taking the wonderful scent of his hair. Orchid. His favorite shampoo is orchid scented. I remember him telling me about it. I see why, it smells beautiful. "Good night Kouyou."
"Goodnight Panda."
I smiled. I never thought this could happen to me. I was so happy, I couldn't sleep. So instead, I watched my angel sleep. I kept glancing over to my alarm clock. Each time I looked, it was a new hour and mom and dad still aren't in. I slowly got out of bed, careful not to disturb Uruha. Making my way into the kitchen, I heard saw the red flashing light on the house phone. I never heard it ring.
One new message. There was a lot of loud noises in the background. Music, people talking and laughing. Then mom's voice come on.
"Hey Aki! My lovely baby boy! Me and your father luh-love you so so so so so so much baby! We uh...We- HEY JUN! TURN THAT SHIT DOWN, I'M TRYING TO TALK TO MY SON! Oh uh...yes, Akira...hi! Me and your father miss you so much but e're having a great time! Your father is dancing again, you know he can't dance well. But anyway! We wo- *hiccup* wont be coming back. We got a lovely hotel room because we can't drive back tonight. Okay, bye baby! Love you! Oh my God, Takara! you're such a whore!"

That explains why they haven't come home. They're drunk. I went to the fridge to grab something to drink when I heard someone knocking on my door. Who the could it be at this hour? It's 2 in the morning! I walk to the living room and peer out the window. I recognize that short figure anywhere.
"Ruki? What are you doing here so late?!" He looked at me with red, puffy eyes. His face was a little wet. "You've been crying? What's wrong?" I let him in. He wrapped his arms around me, buried his face in my shirt and cried.
"I'm sorry I woke you up Reita, I'm so sorry! But I have no one else I can come to and I really need help I don't know what to do!"
I held my dear friend and pat his back. "It's alright, I was awake. What's wrong?"
"Well, I really wanted to see my boyfriend, so I told him to come by my house and I'll let him in. So, I let him in and we went up to me room. We were just talking at first, but he was so cute and tempting so I kissed him! But I got carried away and he told me to stop but I couldn't and I told him I was sure I wanted to keep going. i know he didn't really want to but he went along with it because he just wanted to make me happy..."
"Alright." I was trying to process this information. I don't understand why he's crying to me about it. I guess there's more. "Finish telling me what happened."
He sniffled and nodded. i took him into the kitchen and gave him so cold water. "Okay, so we were laying on my bed making out. We had our shirts off and we were doing a lot of touching. It felt really good but it wasn't enough. So then I reached for his zipper but he told me he didn't want to take it that far. Now I didn't want to scare him off so I said okay. But I had a uh..a problem. And I know he felt it because he smiled and put his hand down my pants and...you can guess what happened next..."
"Yeah, to much info. Can you skip to the part explaining why you're upset?"
"I was getting there...Anyway, he kept telling me to keep it down or my parents would hear us. I told him it was fine, because you know my room is on the first floor and theirs is on the second. But I guess I was being too loud because the lights turned on in my room and I heard my mom scream 'oh my god' suddenly. Nao got off me and we covered ourselves before dad ca-"
"DID YOU SAY NAO?!"
"Uh...yeah? I guess the cats out of the bag now..."
"Matsumoto Takanori! What the hell? Nao is like, 20-something! You're not even 15 yet!"
"I'm sorry...but we have so much in common and he's so sweet and so cute but at times he can be really sexy and it's hard for me not to like him so much. We both know it's wrong but...it felt so right being with him. And he's only 22..."
"He's still an adult. You could get him in a lot of trouble Ruki. If the authorities found out, his life would be ruined."
"I know, but he said the risk was worth it. He really likes me and i like him and I wont stop seeing him so please don't tell anyone?"
"Fine, I wont. Only because you deserve a bit of happiness and Nao apparently gives you that."
"Thank you Reita."
"So why were you crying?"
"Mom gave me and Nao a chance to say goodbye then he left. That's when mom came in and we had a talk...Basically, she told me she's disappointed in me. Not for sneaking him in but for being gay. Then told me my father would kill me so she did me a kindness by kicking me out. She claims she'll make a good story to tell him and I might be able to come back."
"So, you're homeless?"
"For now. So I was wondering if I could stay the night?"
"Yeah, stay as long as you need to. My parents wont mind. But we have to be quiet, Uruha is upstairs sleeping. There's already a bed made up for you in my room. But its on the floor."
"I don't mind, thank you so much Rei."
"Neh, it guess it would be wrong to say no. You're like my little brother. Come on, lets go to bed."
I rinsed out Ruki's glass and we went upstairs. I closed the bedroom door. "Reita where were you? I woke up and you weren't here? I was so cold without you hold me and- Ruki?"
"Hey Uruha, sorry I scared you. I didn't mean to angel." I walked over to the bed and pulled him into a kiss, forgetting Ruki was there.
"Whoa, what's going on with you two?"
"I'm his girlfriend!"
"YOU'RE HIS WHAT?! Uruha, you're a boy! That makes no sense!"
"Hey, someone had to be the girl. And it sure isn't gonna be me." I stated.
"So why are you here as late as it is?"
"I got caught making out with my boyfriend. Shirtless. On the bed. In the dark. By mom."
"Oh, sexy. So, kissing is all you did?" Uruha teased.
"YES YOU PERV!" Ruki shouted.
Uruha giggled. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to make you angry. So, are you ever going to tell me who this mystery guy is?"
Ruki and I exchanged glances. I shrugged my shoulders, he nodded, giving me the ok to tell Uruha. "Naoshi."
"Oh my God?! REALLY?! NAO?!" he squealed. "Oh, he's so cute! I'm happy for you. And he's older. Forbidden romances are the best! You guys make a cute pair. So how was it? Making out with an older man I mean. And a very hot one at that?"
"Amazing! Best kiss of my life. He's really good. And he has this look, it's so hot! We took a lot of pictured together, wanna see them?" Ruki got out his cellphone and handed it to Uruha. I can't deal with this fangirling.
"Guys? you're freaking me out. You're acting like girls."
"Shut up, I do the same with Kohara when I talk about you Rei chen." Uruha said, making me blush.
"Wait, Ruki...why can't you go stay with Nao?"
"He lives with Miyoko and her god father."
"Oh...well you're welcome to stay here as long as you like. Now, let's go to bed. It's been a long night. And I miss laying with my girlfriend." I shut the light off and climbed back in bed with Uruha. I resisted the urged to kiss his perfect lips and just held him against me.
"Goodnight Takanori, good night Akira."
"Uruha, don't call me by my real name. It bugs me. And goodnight guys. I better not wake up to hear or see you guys doing something gross."
"Like what you and Nao were doing?" Uruha replied, making me laugh.
"We were just kissing! Goodnight!" Ruki huffed and turned to face the door. Me and Uruha laughed.
"Goodnight angel." I stole a quick kiss and closed my eyes. "I love you."
"I love you too Panda. Goodnight." We drifted off into a deep slumber together. In the morning, I woke up to find Ruki gone. Uruha was still out cold. I tiptoed out of the room and downstairs where Ruki already had breakfast on the table.
"What this about?" I asked, taking a seat at the table.
"I wanted to thank you for letting me crash here."
"It's no problem at all."
"Mm, what smell so good?" Uruha asked with a yawn, walking into the kitchen rubbing his eyes. "Oh, breakfast! Great! I'm starving!" he slid on my lap and kissed my cheek. "Morning baby."
"Morning sweetheart."
"Food looks great Ru. Didn't know you could cook." he grabbed a plate and started eating. Boy, could he eat. Me and Ruki watched in amazement as he finished off. Then we ate our food. "I'm gonna go shower, thanks for the breakfast Ruki."
I watched as my "girlfriend" walked away towards the stairs. "Reita, when did you and Uruha start going out anyway? I mean, we've all seen it coming for years but I bet you were to scared to ask him out."
"Last night. He kind of confessed first, then we kissed, and he said he was my girlfriend. Who'd argue with that? I mean, he's perfect."
"Yeah, I'm happy for you guys. Are you gonna tell your parents?"
"Tell us what?" Mom asked, walking in with her heels in her hand, messy hair, stained and ripped dress. Dad walked in behind her with a messy suit and messy hair.
"Why do you guys go take a shower, come back for some breakfast, and then I'll tell you the wonderful news?" Ruki suggested with a smile.
"Oh, alright...Hey, I don't remember Ruki staying over. Where's Uruha?"
"Just got in the shower. And Ruki showed up right after you left." I explained.
"Oh, okay. We'll be back down. We're gonna go get some more sleep." mom said, walking towards the stairs with dad slumping behind her.
Ruki and I both laughed when we knew they were out of earshot. "They were so drunk last night, you should her the voice message mom left! They look awful!"
"They must have partied hard last night! Like rockers or something!"
"I bet their hotel room is destroyed."
"I bet they had crazy sex."
"RUKI! THAT'S MY PARENTS YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT DUDE! WATCH IT! Gosh,don't put that image in my head it's so awkward..."
"You're right, I'm sorry."
About an hour later, we all were dressed and ready for the day. Mom and dad finally came down, only this time in matching flannel pajamas. At least they looked well rested. "So Matsumoto san, what was this great news?" dad questioned.
"Ask your son sir." Ruki replied with a smug smirk.
"Tell us Reita." his mother said with a smile.
"It's- Mom it's nothing really."
"Sure. Stop being so chicken and tell us!"
"He's talked to the soccer coach about joing the team and he's going to tryouts after school next thursday!" Uruha covered.
"Y-yes! That's it! I was going to surprise you, hehe..."
"That is great news! I'm proud of you!" mom said hugging me.
Ruki dosen't now how my father feels about...guys like us. Mom has no problem with it. But dad...he'd murder me for even looking at another guy in a certain way; if you get what i'm saying. Uruha knows though. Since he's been my best friend longer than anyone else.
Mom and dad had their breakfast. Me, Ruki, and Uruha played video games all day. Dad and mom went out with a few friends for lunch. Around 5, there was a knock on the door. I presumed it was mom and dad. But when i answered the door, I was met by a tall man with shiny raven hair and hazel eyes. He was dressed in a black business suit.
"Are you Suzuki Akira?"
"Yes sir."
"I'm Amano Shinji, Miyoko's god father. I'm looking for Mastumoto Takanori. Have you seen him?"
"Yes, he's here. Would you like to come in Amano san?"
"Yes, thank you." I let him in, he sat in the kitchen. I ran to the livingroom.
"Ruki, Miyoko's god father is here to speak with you." I led him to the kitchen. "Good luck." I whispered. I sat on the stairs to eavesdrop. I wonder what he was here to talk to Ruki about...
