During the day it's fine but I'm having trouble sleeping; my roommate stays up late and we NEVER talk so it's very uncomfortable. I'm not used to sharing a room anyways, and it's just not working out for me. I'll me much more comfortable living in a single room (for an even more reduced price..) in an academic community and actually in a building in the residence center (where I'm at now we're not really a part of it.) I'll be much closer to student gov and all the other people that I'm working with. It'll be so nice.
I'm glad to hear it's not mono! Good luck with your further testing.
So our first band concert is Sunday, and I was in desperate need of reeds. So I rode my bike seven miles to my local music store; I remain faithful to my local guitar/band store even though I can get items cheaper online generally. I said to the guy working, "Hey Bub, I need a box of Vandoren V12 3 and a halfs." He digs around for a minute and is like "I can't find them... and for that matter, I can't find any V12s." I just about died! Finally, after another minute of making him look, I resigned myself to buy a box of standard Vandorens and did so. But, thank the lord almighty, by the grace of God and Jesus and Gamesh and all that is holy, on my way out I noticed a separate display for the V12s and managed to quickly exchange them. Can you imagine how terrible it would be, after thirteen years of playing V12s, to play some standard Vandorens? I'm afraid to even try!
Something li8ke that happened to me when the music store I went to was out of vandorens, V12, AND Michel-lurie premiums, so i had to play on normal ML 3's for a concert. I about died.
