Natural? Lite
I was going to take Sara to Threadgill's, which I've never been to before, and that was gonna be my New Thing today. But she couldn't take longer than about 25 minutes off work, so instead we went to Torchy's. Which is excellent, but doesn't really count as new! I suppose I did get a new thing off the menu--their burrito, which, for the record, tastes excellent, but has the problem that (at least in the beef version), the strips of beef are too long, so you end up taking a bite out of a burrito and pulling out this huge strip of beef, and pretty soon there is like no beef left in there. Unless I guess you use your front teeth to bite all the way through the beef each time you bite the burrito, but that takes a while and looks weird.
I did have a beer I've never had before. "Natural Lite." I looked at the label a few different times trying to figure out if there was some brand name I wasn't seeing, because "Natural Lite" is so horribly generic a name. But nope, looks like that was it. It was certainly lite. It did not taste very natural. Would not buy, but this was free. I might drink more of it if I get more of it for free, I guess. But I'd pick most other beers first.
