Title: It's Not You - It's Your Quill
Pairing: Gilderoy Lockhart/Rita Skeeter
Prompt: Challenge #5 - 100 words of crack
Rating: G
Word Count: 100
Summary: Rita Skeeter interviews Gilderoy Lockhart.
Author's Notes: Done for rarepair_shorts's 100 Words of Crack Challenge. Not sure this is completely crack, but I did try. ;D I ended up inspiring myself after I gave a prompt to captainpookey, haha.

For the umpteenth time, Rita Skeeter sat irritably on the too-lilac armchair across from Gilderoy Lockhart - on account of his winning Witch Weekly's Most-Charming-Smile Award. Her Quick-Quotes Quill had suffered from the ordeal, and, after the third interview, it blatantly refused to scribble anything whatsoever.

"Rita, Rita, Rita," Lockhart lamented, "This is entirely my fault. I drag you here too often. Your quill has withered away from the effort!"

He procured a peacock from underneath his desk. "I trapped him in the Amazon. Go ahead - pluck a feather! I daresay this fellow has plenty."

"How lovely," Rita said, smiling acidly.
