Early moonrise
joyce_a_summers rang me this morning. That vase that she bought was Famille Rose! She asked me to go down down and see it and I'm sure she's hoping that I'll go with her if she sees this William again.
I don't know how much help I'd be. I don't know much about art. I thought it was ugly. The vase is round and the glaze is mottled looking, not the kind of thing I like. I had to look closely to see that it was patterned. There were three dragons and two red birds (and even then it wasn't pretty.) I wouldn't have he thing was - well, it smelled old. THe glaze smelled strange, too. It was coming up for that time of the month and the scent was quite different from a modern piece.
When I examined it I found that trade-mark thing and just Googled it. (I wonder if Watchers will become obsolete? We research, but Google is so easy.)
I certainly shouldn't go to the gallery now. The moon will be rising early. Huge and round - and full.
