It's been a while
It has been a long while since I wrote anything here. Guess I'll start with something that I can remember.
Some time in November 10, I went to Stanford University for ICPC programming contest. 5 hours of pure programming with 50+ groups of 3 all over North America (Of course, not all were stationed in the campus). No, we did not win because British Columbia and Standford always become one of the top 3 teams.
I remember celebrating the end of the semester with some of the graduating/departing CS seniors/students on a December Friday night. Pizza was great and we got to interact with some CS/CE freshmen. Some of us went to watch a movie...no more I Legend, so watched Enchanted (funny, those are NY thespians appearing from the sewer, talking chipmunk, reversed roles).
Went home for winter break and my brother went snowboarding...(I wanted to go and try it once), got a used mp3 player for cheap, and celebrated my birthday. I went out with my friend,pyro_aku, to Japantown, bought some manga and some Dango at the supermarket. Crazy thing happened there when we were discussing about the Dango. We saw Saiunkoku Monogatari and remembered where Ryuuki was eating Dango with Shuuei. They were discussing who the first dango, middle, and last dango on the stick to be eaten. Shuuei was the first dango on top, and Ryuuki ate all the top ones from each stick in anger. When we were in the store and talking, Shuuei's name came out in our little Japanese conversation (I can't remember the entire conversation that we had, but it was pretty embarrassing) and this little grandma went "Shuuei, は何ですか？" Haha~that was nice!
Went back to school for a new semester. Yay for graphics and other course~! (I think...)
