BellaOHOT Prologue 2
Hello, it’s me again, Bella Bachelor. I thought should show you all a few of the places in my life.
There’s home, of course, where I live with my family.
And school… were I get to see Mortimer and the rest of my friends.(If it weren’t for them, school would be boring.)
Here I am checking out the SimWeb. I’m looking up stuff about marine life, because Miss Crumplebottom (our teacher… I think she’s related to Mortimer) assigned us all an essay about fish. I want to do mine on dolfins… or star fish. Mortimer said he was doing his on the giant squid.
Dad takes time out from working on his second science fiction novel to help me with my essay. He’s okay, sometimes. The other night he cooked dinner because Mom was working late and we were all starving.
He made mac and cheese and burnt it.
So here I am on the bus riding into school. I’m nervous about the essay and nervous about today.
My birthday is next month and today I get to invite people to come to my house for a party. I only want to invite Mortimer, though, because he’s my best friend. I sure hope he says he will come.
