Some of you may or may not be aware that my older brother plays internet poker for a living. He does so well at it that he has been able to buy a new SUV and supports himself, paying his bills, rent, etc, with his earnings. He makes oodles more at it than he has at any of his other previous jobs - in fact he quit his previous job because he was losing money going to it. The amount he would have made in the same time playing poker far outweighs what he was being paid an hour at that job.
Anyway, the evil government is passing legislation (which was attached as a rider...dont even get me started on riders, as we all saw how they attached the Rave Act as a rider to the Amber Alert bill to get it passed) that is basically going to take away his livilihood. The act is going to pass this Friday, but there is still a chance to get it amended to allow him to continue. He explains it all in his blog, here, and also has a form letter you can use to send in to your local representative. It would be super if you could take 10 minutes to do so. Thanks!
