My last sociology paper.
I don't like to blow my own horn. That's a lie. I really love it, but there aren't that many opportunities. So, to be nice to myself and torture my LJ friends all at once (and because I haven't been feeling really good about my scholastic self lately) I will tell you this.
My paper was all dotted with "Excellent"s, and "well said!"s. At the end, he said, "An outstanding piece of analysis and writing, Roxanne. You successfully weave in the personal with the social, joining them into a well reasoned and informed foundation for your articulate conclusions. Truly impressive."
I'm thinking that since wahooweena changed her journal sub-title to "Curmudgeonly Delightful," I would like to be "Truly Impressive." It makes me think of Charlotte's Web, wherein I would be "Some Pig."
