boxing day and we're gonna feast again!

we're going over to Drey & Tobes's place for potluck tonight!
there is going to be so much food and drinks..we'll have to fast after this christmas!
and everyone is bringing their +1! :)
everyone of us has come a long way. last christmas, we all went cynthia's place and almost all were single and i just met james. i look at where we are now in each of our lives and i feel really blessed and happy.
just a year ago, i am still unsure of where my past relationship was going. it was hopeless wishing for something that i couldn't have, and last year, i finally made the decision to end it.
and in the process, i am so so so glad to have qi and cc with me. even sam whom i don't see as much, but you all were there. and cc, i will never forget what you told me after our (more of yours actually..hahhaa) drunken night out at Attica. friends really do not judge each other and you proved that right.
i must thank cc and qi for my ramblings during the smoke breaks..and the long emails we used to send each other. just so glad that we each have found someone that is good for us. :)
2010 was a good year. i sort of got promoted at work, and i got a husband. haha.
though work is still a bitch and i complain ever so often, there is still some satisfaction and i am happy my efforts were somewhat recognised.
being married doesn't change many things for me yet. but i'm learning to be more tolerant and unselfish, coz james is my family now. :)
there are the downs too.. seems like this year a lot of people got sick and james's bro is still not well. and i guess i get more paranoid nowadays if either of my parents are sick. its really true, good health is more important than anything else. i hope 2011 will be better for everyone, good health and good luck!
