10km run and Orange Cranberry Muffins

Did the 10km run at 6am today. Woke up at 4:45am and that was probably more painful than the post run fatigue. Didn't see daylight until 3/4 way through the run. That was definitely the biggest mental barrier. Running in the dark before dawn.

These were another mental barrier. Been thinking about them for weeks. Finally got around to making them, tho very late in the evening, after sleeping off the endorphin hangover. Again using Nigella Lawson's recipe for rhubarb muffins, made these with fresh cranberries, fresh orange juice and gingerbread spices.



Tweaks:
- sub 1/2 cup orange juice for half the milk called for
- added 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 1tsp ground ginger, 2tsp cinnamon
