Writing

I'm currently working out the logistics of a writing project, namely how long I'd like to write it for.

Now y'all are probably wondering either two things:

a) Whether it is smart to plan out the exact number of issues (yes, I said issues) it'll run for, and thus not really give a chance for the characters to go off in intriguing directions.

or:

b) How Lost shows it CAN be done.

I'm still torn. On the one hand, I really want to take these characters on journeys beyond my initial conceps. I feel they are good enough to span years, Hell maybe even decades. But there's also that nagging doubt that they'll overstay their welcome.

It's a tough choice.

There's also probably a few of you who'd rather debate the logistics of decapitation (ey, Speaker) which is cool (and certainly something that should be done... and heck, it's amusing in that I haven't signed the damn contract for this yet (though the first five pages of Issue One seemed to generate a positive response to the two people who've read them.)
