Age:15-16. I will age him up in Pleasantville.
Canon point: Shortly after his release from the hospital after being attacked by the Yellow scarves.
Personality:
Takiguchi is a boy with few close friends due to his rather lackadaisical and ruffian appearance. Despite this, he is actually a very sweet boy who spends the majority of his time by himself, composing music on his harmonica. He is very friendly when approached, openly offering the people around him the clothes off his back if it would somehow serve to help them, having a very strong sense of justice. While he is not very strong physically, his down-to-earth air and strong sense of honesty are his major charm points. Though, admittedly he is not a smooth talker, sometimes going in circles around what he really wants to say as he looks for the right words in his head. He is an all around average boy and speaks in a less than proper manner, at times sounding slightly like a surfer in speech and in mannerisms. He is so cool to the point that he makes cucumbers sweat and is as chill as ice, only panicking in times of imminent danger. Being that he is more of a lover than a fighter, he is quick to run in times of threat. Despite being more of a flight type, he is definitely not a track runner and is not always able to get away.
After a run-in with a gang that ended up giving him a broken his arm (and harmonica), his perception on the beauty of the world around him faded some and he lost hope in humanity for a short time. Though, due to his strong sense of hope, this was short-lived as he remembered again the importance of helping others, rejoining his gang to save a girl and help her escape capture. He has a strong sense of passion and loyalty, and will always be a member of the side of justice. (What he feels is just, anyway.)
During his time in Pleasantville, he spent most of his time alone, making music on his busted harmonica. Due to being in Pleasantville Takiguchi's arm was never able to be fully taken care of by medical staff, thus causing his arm to remain in pain to this day.
He also is a big fan of snacks, specifically potato chips, though he will of course share without provocation. Want some?
