calling for funky photographers
i know that there are several talented photographers on my flist and i'm sure that many of you know others, and so i am seeking your assistance. Booty Vortex is in need of some high quality photographic representation for our website, press kits and promo packages, so i am hoping to elicit the assistance of friends or friends-of-friends. we are in need of two separate things (which do not need to be done by the same photographers):
1) action shots of our live performances
2) a staged photo shoot of individuals and the entire group
i understand that both of these present different kinds of difficulties, and we are willing to negotiate some form of compensation. however, the purpose of asking for help from friends is because we can't really afford a full priced professional photographer, so compensation would come in the form of things like being guest listed to shows (perhaps with some free drinks), prints for your portfolio, credit/endorsement via our website, our undying love and respect, and the like. we have two upcoming shows, and we would really like to have someone there taking pictures of us. if either you or anyone you know of are interested or have questions about what more may be involved, please let me know ASAP.
