Audio field recording needed for ENSMB HONK! documentary

Oct 06, 2010 11:40

not content to rest on my laurels, in addition to all of our other HONK! activities this weekend, we're also going to be filming a documentary.  we'll have at least one 'embedded' cameraman with us all weekend, capturing what Honk is like from a band's POV, specifically ours.  we've got some high quality video gear at our disposal for this weekend, but what we need is someone who can do some quality audio field recording, so that we have more material to work with beyond the sound we can get from the cameras.

i know it's short notice, but it just wouldn't be us if this was well planned far in advance. ;)  if any of you or anyone you know has the gear to get a decent outdoor sound recording, and can either lend it or are willing to join the film crew, please get in touch with me as soon as you can.  the most important bits we need to record are Sat 3-4, 8-9 and Sun 12-2 & a 15 min slot between 8-12.  anything else that can't be recorded is great, but not as necessary.  no editing or post-production work is required for this. we just need someone to capture sound.

perks include being fed by us, free HONK! or band t-shirt, being involved in a film intended for the festival circuit, and being a part of ENSMB history.

please pass this along, repost, email and generally spread the word
thanks!
