Asked me to write some feedback for them. This is what I wrote...
I would have to say that my time at the NYLC was one of the greatest experiences I've had in my entire life. Not just what I learned or what I saw or what I did, but the people I met also. I wouldn't trade my experience there for anything in the world. I still keep in touch with all of my friends from there and I plan to forever. Just the opportunity to meet people from all around the country excites me, but finding out also that they're all some of the most amazing people I've ever met? That is what makes the whole thing worthwhile. The bonds you make with people are what lasts forever, whether you like them or hate them, you never forget who you did what with. You may forget what you learned about left wing and right wing and how a bill is passed and all of that. But it's who you meet and what you did with them, that's what stays in your heart forever.
