Ooo, you've got an Oded Fehr icon! Am I correct in assuming that Kalin is modeled after him physically? 'Cause, if so... whoa! No wonder Laura is attracted to him!
Cool idea that Kalin didn't join the Fleet until recently and was one of Sam's resistance fighters and fellow Pyramid player. I enjoyed the pub scene with him and Laura, and how Kara seemed to be playing matchmaker. hehe!

I enjoyed the A/R in this section too, but I have to admit that I'm more interested in what happens with Kalin. *G*

Yeah, I figured that Kalin would work best if both the reader and Laura didn't know him very well. To have had him floating around the fleet from the beginning would have caused to many continuity flubs that I just didn't want to deal with. This way, I can build from the ground and give him an interesting history. However, the story is mainly about Laura, so I'll focus more on her POV.

Suffice to say, A LOT happened in that missing year, and since the 'Lords of Kobol' didn't bother to tell us anything about it, Chilipip will! At least that's my mission *blushes*
