I found a Queen album inamongst our family's most ancient CDs, and in my curiosity I gave it a spin. DEAR GOD, it is hi-larious. And kind of awesome. The song Don't Stop Me Now came on, and that made me recall the scene in Shaun of the Dead where they're hiding out at the Winchester pub and a zombie finds them, and they start beating on the zombie with pool cues while Don't Stop Me Now by Queen blasts from the jukebox. Best zombie-slaying scene of all time is all I can say. My mother doesn't normally like to watch movies more than once, but every time I put Shaun of the Dead on she sits down with me and we have a good laugh.

Because, hello? Zombie movies with Queen on the soundtrack rule the universe.
