*Mel's really glad she can get mad again, because if she'd had to cry when she nicked herself slicing tomatoes, instead of cursing and kicking the stove, she would've been mortified. She finishes making the two sandwiches, wraps them up, and puts them in the picnic basket with the bottle of lemonade, plates, napkins, and glasses, and a smallish

Honestly, Mel. When we get home, I’m never letting you near the kitchen. Let me see your hand.

I'll learn! You look cute.

[Mail smiles and gives her a kiss in return - on the opposite cheek. When her hand is offered, he takes it and inspects the cut.]
And it looks like you didn't even clean it properly! Didn't your learn about bacteria and disease in that genius factory of yours? [His tone is obviously playful and he gently nudges her to the sink.] This will sting a little. [It's stupid to warn someone of it, but he feels it's necessary. He takes runs lukewarm water over the cut and applies a dab of antibacterial soap, rubbing it against her wound and then rinsing it when finished. After that, he dries it with a paper towel and gives the cut a little kiss.] There. All better.

*She laughs softly and willingly lets him take care of the cut.* I'm afraid I learned more about being in a hurry to get things done. Thanks, love. Do you need any ice or anything?

You’re welcome, Mel. And no thank you, I took Tylenol this morning to get rid of the headache.

OK. *frowns a little, though* I really do need to kick her ass. But, later.
*she picks up the picnic basket*
Where to? I was thinking of the bathhouse room, though it's a little weird.

Mm. I would suggest the outdoors room or beach room, but the bathhouse sounds intriguing. You lead, I'll follow. [And he's obviously not going to let her carry the basket (being the gentleman he is), so he nudges it out of her grasp with a smile.]

OK! *She sets off toward it, and once her hands are both free, slips one into his back pocket to search for the chocolate she's pretty sure is there.*
It has a nice hillside. And there's these weird creatures in it, but they left me and L alone. And if we don't eat any food from the room, we won't see them.

[He squirms a bit when she fishes through his pockets for the bar of Lindt he's got stashed away, and blushes a little, but he squeaks when she begins groping.]
Weird creatures? Hm. You might see them anyway, since you already ate their food.

*She takes rather longer to find it than is strictly necessary, and squeezes in a way that isn't necessary at all, grinning. Then she reaches out to take his hand for the rest of the trip.*
Hm, maybe. Some of them were pretty cool, actually. This should be it.

[He squirms and squeaks the entire time, and shoots her a mock-glare when she pulls out, taking her hand and lacing their fingers together.]
Ladies first~

*That reaction is so cute, she has to give him a kiss on the cheek before opening the door.*
The hillside's just through this tunnel.

[He relents and kisses her on the forehead.] Ooh, the breeze is nice.

Yeah, it's really pretty in here.
*she gives his hand a squeeze and leads him through the tunnel and out into the open air*

[When they're out in the open air, he takes a moment to gasp and stare, amazed.]

It's great, isn't it? I think it's meant to be Japan.
