so i've finally realized that my dads a cool guy and if i listen to him and spend time with him, i could learn ALOT.
just on the ride home from my lesson in fall river he had something to say about every song at came on B101, whether he had friends in that band, or pointing out specific parts in the song that i never would have picked up on my own. its great to listen to the classical station with him as well becuase he always knows the title and composer of any song that is playing and what period it was from. we also discussed the different techniques of vibrato and how to master them, which was great becuase i feel like just talking about it has improved my skill in some way.
so, yeah, i pretty much take back all of the shit i talk about him becuase he's a great musician and an extremely knowledgable man.
im going to get good at music, i promise. im sick of being just alright.
