found you over at seven_endless. you're no child of mine :P
but yes, spiderman 2 is amazing! i was skeptical, because let's face it, doc ock was HORRIBLE in the comic books. he looked like the world's ugliest midget. but the movie made him a credible, and human, villain.

and the arms.....the arms were friggin' poetic in movement. Such fluid grace, the comics never portrayed that kind of movement from him. In the comics he was pudgey, and blocky. Not in the movie though.:)

And thanks for the love of the icon.:)

Oh, and The Endless are fabulous! I think Destiny is the best of the Endless. Everything is in his book, y'know?

destiny is very unique. i love the fact that he is blind. its obvious that i love death as a character, but i would have to say a close second is Despair. she is terrible and beautiful at the same time. i think of all the characters, hers is the most poetic. may i friend you?

Sure, friend away.:)

As for Despair, I like her. She's got this job to do, because well, she is Despair, afterall. But at the same time, it's like she loathes her job, yet she has to do it, so in essence, she depsairs at her very existence. It's very poetic.

No, he's definately a wee bit bigger. He was getting a bit of a double-chin in the second. I know, I stared at it for like ten minutes of the movie. LMAO.;)

Jason went to see it earlier today and fucking loved it. Said it was one of the best comic book movies ever made, right up there in the pantheon with the likes of Superman and Batman.

Can't wait to see it myself. I went with the emotionally draining option this evening and went to see Michael Moore's latest tome. Excellent film, I might add.

It really is an awesome movie. I can't seriously explain how well of a character they made Doc Ock seem in the movie.

As for Michael Moore's film, I probably won't go see it anytime soon. I'm not a real big fan of political movies. I've already taken my stance on Bush, and even though this movie would solidify it more, it's just not something I want to see in the theatres. Though, once it's out on video, I'll rent it.

BTW, how's the foot?
