So Anaheim hasn't clinched their playoff spot, there are two teams in contention in the Western conference. How sweet would it be if Anaheim lost their spot. I mean, it's not going to happen, but god it would make me happy. Against the Sharks, there are only two teams in the Western conference that particularly worry me: Detroit (duh) and Anaheim. It would be so nice if we only had one to be concerned about.
In my dreams this is how the western conference breaks down:
San Jose beats St. Louis
Then beats Calgary to win the quarter finals.
Detroit kills Anaheim
I can't decide whether they loose to Vancouver or not... I've been a Redwings default fan for so long, it's hard to let go.
Either way Detroit/Vancouver looses to San Jose in the semifinals.
I don't pay attention to the Eastern conference, it would be nice if we didn't have to worry about Boston. Whatever team makes it, it goes without saying they loose miserably to the Sharks in the Finals. I want to see that Stanley cup hoisted about the Sharks head!!!!
Of course if they play like they're playing against the Coyotes right now, it's not going to happen.
