Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

If you see only one movie, make it the one listed in my subject.

I don't really have any words that I think would do it justice. I think the reason is because the movie's power lies not in its incredible script, or acting, but something unplaceable, like...I honestly don't have any comparison (that would take less than 3-4 paragraphs. Im also at a loss for time right now). I just knew from the first time I watched it (~4 months ago) that it was genius. You should do the same.

This is a quickie, because I need to write so I can feel smart, but need to do it in haste, because I have to work.

The sun shines through the stained glass windows
Your skin reflecting in all their glory
The choir sings
I want to sing, but for all the wrong reasons

Silly boy
With a silly crush
Trying to concentrate
While Dad works the word
and Mom nods approvingly

Affirmations permeate the dead congregation
Alive for nothing else but to listen
On this Early, early morning

Yet I feel
As though all of me would be free
If I were to admit, and free these thoughts

If these thoughts are real
And you sitting over there is only
a natural extension of me
Then, I pray, come over here
And make me significant

Boyhood church crush
Time to create: 4-5 minutes
Inspiration: stained glass window
Setting: possibly early in my life
Feelings: nostalgic for some past I made up

Italics are SO my idea.
