(no subject)
Okay people, so I'm back in the country, I finally have my GCSE results, and there's nothing stopping me from updating my big round butt off.
In theory.
In practicality, I'm now snowed under with all the evil English Literature holiday preparation that I conveniently ignored before. I now have no excuse not to do it, since my results have cleared me for all the classes I'm taking next year, and I have precisely two days to finish it all. And I assure you, if I do, it will be a MIRACLE. Next week school starts, and, as I've been informed by several people, I have to "hit the ground running" or else I'll "collapse and die a miserable death in the dust". I've been warned by several OTHER people that Year 12 is bloody hard work, and assured by even MORE people that I'm taking the four hardest subjects it's possible to take, and that I'll be booking my bed in a mental asylum by the end of Week 1.
Encouraging, no?
Anyway, so I'm working on my updates, and I will try and update as much as I can - probably at weekends. Chapter 35 of TTOTH is still in the works, I'm waiting for my beta from sugarquill to advise me about HIA, and I've got a new story in its baby stages. So my fanfiction hobby is still live and kicking ^_^
Hope you all had a great summer holiday, and that no one's keeled over and died from heat/mosquitoes (I was on the hit list of every single mosquito in Sri Lanka - it wasn't pretty).
