Vacation, Sweet & Sour
Last Friday was depressing, I was hoping to go with some friends to see Borat, but Stan had to leave early for LA 'cause his Grandma died. Tried to go even then, but my mom told me I had to stay home to get ready for the debate tourny sat. Right after school we went to visit my grandma, it was really depressing, as she can hardly walk any more, liver is failing, and has trouble with even basic motor skills. The sad thing is that she is so intelligent, and her mind works perfectly, but her body is falling apart. She keeps trying to give away like everything she has whenever we visit, after my grandpa died it was like she didn't have any reason to go on living, and she would always say that.
The tourny went okay, sooooo long, Mario and I went varsity this time, not by choice, but we still broke which was nice, but we lost elimination round to another Davis Team.
Got to see my bro for a couple of days this week, he always has these crazy stories of stuff his friends have done, mostly stupid or illegal, but always funny. Went up to Apple Hill and snagged a sweet Christmass tree, though the needles stabbed little holes on my forearms, looked like chicken pox or something.
It irritates me when my parents ask to borrow my car, if I say no then they like threaten me until I say yes, I'm like "Why don't you just take it rather than pretend you care!" But oh well, at least they gas it up all the way, sometimes.
Still a bunch of homework to do: Need to get ready for the debate on Monday, need to read 300 more pages in Byron and write and interview/book report thingy, econ presentation/notes, calc hw, and ap chem lab.
Probably should clean my room, do laundry.
I'll end up sleeping, can't ever resist, [nodds off]
