One day, one dance, one chance......
Ok, let me describe the Beau Dance to you in one word....CRAP The music sucked...nobody danced...all they played was country, swing, and the most boring 80s music I've ever heard. I skipped school yesterday because I just felt like it. Senioritis is really starting to affect me. FUN! I had an okay time Saturday. Can one night really change the way you feel about someone?? I guess so. I think the best part about the dance was getting to hang with my friends. Randy wanted me to go to Waffle House after the dance but I was so tired that I just wanted to sleep. I almost didn't change before going to bed that night. At church, I almost fell asleep during choir practice. Hailey had a birthday party Sunday afternoon. That was fun. I love hanging out with her. There is never a dull moment!
While we were at the dance, me, hailey, iris, and tiff were like, its not the same without Jordan. If he was here, we would have a better time. lol...sorry for the guilt trip jordan...but its the truth, although i doubt you could have done anything about the music. Iris was like, I can pass you comment on to someone so we dont get this DJ again..
Hopefully the 40 days of purpose program will get me back on the right path. I've been slipping, as every christian prolly does at some point in their life. We are human after all. The only difference between Christians and other people is that fact they we are saved. God is still waiting for others to accept him. Did you know that the devil could care less about a person who is NOT saved, but tempts Christians with sin every moment of their lives. It is definetly hard to be a Christian in this world. It's hard to live for God every waking moment. But I have great friends who give me strength and I have the most awesome person on my side to pull me through the tough times......His name is God.
