My holiday was already put in the previous weeks, but I'll babble anywayz. Um, the day after New Years I went to the beach with Dad and all the almost step family was down there. But the FIRST thing I did when Dad and I GOT to the houses was play smash brothers with Dupree. Lol. The weather was beautiful and I walked with my almost step grandma down the beach and then walked her back to the houses while the rest stayed at the beach. THEN all I did was play the DS on the step uncles porch for about 3 hours THEN when they got back Dupree and I played Zelda: Oracle of Time for about a hour. Supper time came and I made my first ever smore! *So exciting I know!* We later took the boat out for a ride around the lake and for once I noticed just how beautiful and bright the stars were. It was beyond memorisizing. We left after roasting marshmellows and standing around talking. * My first real marshmellow roast too!*
Yesterday *right now it being 1 somthing in the morning*, I went to Blake D.'s house with Dustin and Hunter, Dustin, and I played halo again. Jory was in and out of it when he played. And yeah we needed another controller...and well someone that we don't hang out with 'borrowed' a nice wireless control from Walmart. So when Hunter, Dustin, and I decided to leave I took the stollen controller and we smuggled it out. So now the controller is mine and for the person who stole it, well next time don't f*cking steal and I won't have to take it from you! But yeah no more hang out with that person. Other than that I'm semi descent in halo and I'm currently addicted to Cranium even though I've played it once so far. O well.
O and real quick...
This is an amazing story to me that was in the newspaper about this man and his kids that were hit with the tsunami. A lone pole was all the remanded of his house and so him and his 6 year-old daughter, and 4 and 2 year-old sons went to it. There was rushing water still around them and the pole was all they had. So the father takes his daughter and put her on his back and told her to hold on to him while he took his two sons and put them in his arms and then he held onto the pole. He stood like that for about 2 or so hours until his strength finally gave way and he dropped his sons. He cried and cried thinking he had killed his own children, until about a hour or so later rescuers came for him and his daughter. He told them of his sons and they said that the boys had been found on some shore, half barried in sludge and barely breathing but...still both alive. The four of them later met up with the mother who had been at a realitives house and was safe during the whole ordeal.
I just thought that was, well, extrodinary.
There were more amazing survival stories, but sadly this one is one of few many stories that was a bit happy. I just pray for all those people, and can only hope nothing so horrible happens again.
Be safe!
