Confirmation
So the ultrasound confirmed what my vet predicted yesterday. And a little more. There is indeed a mass on her liver. And the ultrasound also revealed a mass on her spleen as well. So it looks like metastasized hemangiosarcoma. Her tumors are pretty small overall, but obviously starting to affect her. Surgery would be diagnostic not curative, but we're already 95% sure what it is, I don't see the point in putting her through surgery. So we're treating her symptoms and keeping her comfortable while we can. She's mine as long as I can keep her eating well. We're trying canned food now, since its stinkier, it is more appealing to silly dogs than dried food. And when that doesn't work anymore I feed her people food. As long as I can.
