Hello flist! *waves*
I am so far behind on my flist today it is not even funny...many of you have posted exciting RL news as well as fandom things (happy birthday Mary!) and I apologize for not commenting on as many as I should have. I think there have been at least 60 posts from you guys since I checked this morning. Damn. Anyway...know that I love you all, even if I haven't shown that much lately.
Busy day, class then a hectic day at work. The head of security dropped by and made us all laugh as we bitched about this crazy woman who always gives us work-study students a hard time. Then I crashed at
sheamackenzie's and watched a few eps of 'Firefly'. Yay.
Finally I came back to the dorm and shared a bottle of wine (generously given to me by
ldy_guinevere) w/ some friends. More yay.
In other news, my sister met Hillary Clinton today. And gave her a gift ('Hillary' written in a single piece of copper, made by my sis), which Hillary thanked her for. She then had the newspaper people come over and take pictures of them, then got my sister's address so that she could send a thank you note. Then my sister called me to gloat. I hate her.
EDIT: we were discussing Game Theory in Econ today and the prof kept saying "a dominate strategy", though I swear to you, what
sheamackenzie and I kept hearing was "Adama strategy". *headdesk* And yes, the "Adama strategy" is always in your best interest. Though as a public good, Bill Adama would be considered 'excludable', by order of the president...okay, I'll just stop now...
