When my husband came home from work yesterday, first thing out of his mouth was, "Did you realize UPS had been here today?" I was home sick but didn't hear anyone knock and wasn't expecting a package. "Nope, what'd we get?"
"A stroller."
?!?!
Somebody got the address wrong for a full-size stroller from Babies R Us, and it got delivered to our house. The thing is HUGE. He was on the phone for a long time with UPS to get it straightened out, and they're picking it up today, but I was just livid. At first I feared it was a prank gift from some random pressure-y person in our lives. Then we both had the same evil thought--how much could we get for this on eBay? ;)
The dumb thing about this is that the people it was really for used to live in our old apartment but before we did, and not only have they never lived in our house, we don't know them at ALL. (They have the same last name as my maiden name, though, so clearly somebody screwed up some change-of-address thing.) But the stroller was from the woman's PARENTS. Wouldn't they know to manually enter their daughter's real, current address in there?!? WTF?!?!
Anyway, just thought you guys would get a kick out of this.
