Speaking of Superbowl ads...

Anybody else annoyed by the Google ad involving being in love with someone in Paris? They fall in love and get married and all, and then, but of course, what has to come next? THEY HAVE TO HAVE A BABY! Duh! People can't just fall in love and get married and live happily ever after!

I'll post it here )

*shrug* I think it's cute. Just because someone doesn't make the exact same fucking life choices that you do, doesn't make it the end of the world.

It doesn't really bother me. Most people do have kids; why pretend that's not the case?

This. Yeah, it's the "normal" thing to have kids, but why do they ALWAYS have to be involved? There have finally been a few commercials lately that involve people who don't have kids, but generally it's kids and babies, even when kids really have nothing to do with the subject of the commercial and don't add anything useful to it beyond the supposed "cute" factor.

I thought the overall idea of the commercial was cool. My husband said something like "and of course they had to have a baby..."

Yeah, I liked the idea and all until they had to have the "typical ending".

I thought it was cute. The progression was well handled.
