where have I been?
It is over a month since I wrote anything here.A virus pushed me off-line but I am BACK!!!!
Rencetly I was in Northumberland visiting Lindisfarne and Durham cathedral. The latter has the tombs of St Cuthb ert and the Venerable Bede. Both amazingly simple. The needpoint kneelers were superb.
While up there I visited Chillingham Castle. www.chillingham.co.uk, I think, anyway findable through Google.This is an amazing place. Worth trying to find it. Also the Poison Garden at Alnwick.
