Since last posting I have
(1)bought my first sofa and become surgically attached to it. There is a dignity in this when it is one's OWN sofa. Honestly.
(2) become very peevish about the weather being too hot and keeping one in a continual state of inelegance.
(3) fallen hopelessly in love with Cologne cathedral
(4) fallen hopelessly in love with Cologne Chocolate Museum
(5) accidentally seen Keane in concert in Hyde Park. The lead singer looks exactly like a hobbit and I cannot FATHOM how he was not cast as a Green Dragon extra. Several people asked if I was selling pills, which - as I don't resemble a drug dealer in any way I can think of - must have been to do with visibly having no interest in Keane.
(6) Bought some odd objets at auction.
(7) Carried a large glass head and a hatstand home on a crowded Routemaster. Was very unpopular and inelegant.
(8) Got stuck writing Dom smut.
