(no subject)
So I've been absent from LJ for the past few months. This was mostly because I really didn't have anything I wanted to share or anything happy to talk about. Because no one wants to read sad posts or whiny posts or bitchy posts....well, maybe the bitchy ones.
But today I can post something with pride. It's minor in the grand scheme of things, but it's a big deal to me, and dammit all you're just going to have to suffer.
I walked the 2.5 miles to work today.
To the more athletic friends on the flist, that's a drop in the bucket. But for me to get up (after only hitting the snooze button twice), get my stuff ready, and make that little hike to here, it's a huge accomplishment. Hell, I was even showered and at my desk half an hour early! I hope to be keeping up this momentum for the rest of the week, and maybe even longer.
