Beautiful Day
It is such a beautiful day out! I love days like this. Especially working in the lower west side here in Manhattan.
I went for a walk down Grove St. Birds were chirping and there was a gentle breeze n the air. It was so nice to take off the coat, scarf and gloves and just feel the wind and sunlight on my skin. I love to wander around this area on days like these. I love looking at the ivy crawling up the old brownhouses. It makes you step back in time a little bit. You don't feel like you're walking around NYC at all in this area... it feels more like Boston or Europe.
And to further my fuzzy feelings, I finished my final assignment for my writing course and when I get my manuscript back with the final feedback, I will start to send it out to publishers. Also, I went to the Feb. SCBWI lecture and it was very inspiring. I can't even explain how wonderful it feels to have my creative energy back. Lately I've been feeling so alive. So inspired. So motivated. I just feel like reading and writing and nothing else. I think if you attached a light bulb to me it would light up with the amount of energy I am feeling right now.
