170th Revolution: Trying to be civil and waiting for the inevitable failure.

Oct 01, 2011 09:20

So once more the barriers are down and people have decided to arrive.

Come at me should feel the need to. Your collective particular brands of insanity and personality quirks can't be as bad as what I've dealt with in the past month.

[OCC: Anything is go. Hit 'im hard folks.]

wall meet head, too many people, will regret this later, ammo for trolls, curse: no more 4th wall, damn headache, licensed smartass

[This boy seems very well-adjusted to being spirited away and to have gone through so much. Have Alanis!God leaning down and smiling then waving at him.]

[Two years and random insanity can surprisingly make people stable.]

Can I help you?

[That doesn't make it any better. Rather than say anything she motions to the area around them as if to ask where she is.]

[Frowning because this was not in Her plans. Now she reaches into a pocket on her tutu and pulls out a cell-phone device to text on. When she's done she shows it to him.]

You seem very calm about being stuck here.

Normally I'd be angry but now I'm just getting tired of it all for now.

It could be a bad sign when you get tired of something so big.

Maybe but with how this place is you'll do nothing but just wait for whatever event or scripted madness to happen.

Doesn't it get boring to just wait for something to happen? People should be out trying to do things for themselves.

What's the point when the entire world seems to be against anything thing you'd do?

[Strange...why does he feel like talking openly about his thoughts?]

Isn't the world always like that? Someone somewhere will always be against whatever you do but shouldn't you fight for what you believe is right?

[She has that effect on people.]

And if everything you'd want is stripped from your reach?

When has anything truly been stripped out of someone's reach? The solution may be difficult and even hard to see but nothing is impossible. Even in a world like this. Giving up and not even thinking of fighting is the path you're going to take?

[Can you feel the disappointment rolling off of Her, Huey?]

What would you know? I've fought for a lot of things and the only things I've gained through that were injuries, cruel deaths, and bitterness.
