we were there for about a week. beautiful beaches. most of those ocean shots were from our hotel room.

st. thomas is part of the virgin islands in the caribbean. about 200 miles south of florida.

where else have you been in the Caribbean?

this was my first time there. I want to go to Puerto Rico next. Hopefully Cuba someday.

I've been to St. Lucia (also VERY nice), Eleuthera (in the Bahamas), St. John, and St. Croix. And Cozumel too if that counts. Cozumel is kind of booty as far as scenery goes but the restaurants there are really good.

I was amazed how piss poor the food was in St. Thomas.. it was also very expensive. there were only a handful of west indian restaurants on the island. it was almost as if they have no cultural identity whatsoever. I heard St. Lucia was nice too.
