This morning I had a coffee-break snack which said on the back 'This product has been produced in a factory handling nuts and seeds and may not be suitable for people with an allergy'. Very sensible. But it was a bag of brasil nuts.........

One of the women I work with needed some shoes repairing yesterday. The metal arch under the heel had broken. Her local repairer had taken one look at them (beautifully vintage-styled red sandals, also needing re-heeling) and been very rude about the condition of them and refused to do them, saying no-one would repair anything in that condition.
