Glorious Thursday!
The Batsday weekend has come and gone. It was a wonderous time. I can wait for next year. I love the sense of community and the fact that you can be without a friend. All the pretentious fucks get to stay at home while the Cultures of Alternativah fellowship. We didnt even suffer at the hands of mallrat goths and rebellious screamo teens. We were 3000 strong. It was good to see familiar faces and meet new ones. We may need to arrange more unofficial meet times and places. There were so many people in general. I didnt get see as many (alternative) people as I hoped. It seems for the invasion to be successful on a third sunday we will need more people indeed. Even through we have so many already. But still, a great weekend. I am now consider convergence 13.
Femmdraven, I apologize for not making it to chamber, we had an emergency with someone within my party sunday.
Seth, I enjoyed hang out with you. When you are in town or I in you neck of the woods we should hang out more.
As for monday, I went to work. The last day of my out of this world internship. I promised them I would stay in touch. And I plan to. This summer could have been so much worse without them. I ended the day at Ground Control and a little karaoke.
I will not be coming into L.A. until friday. I have more errands and then I plan to go to RTB. Any who wish to join and can make it to Long Beach, please do!
Now, I must prepare for school. The summer has come to an end. I have truly been tested this summer. But I am happy and stable. I even have my internet up and running. Yay! My family are happy and safe in THEIR new house. A feat I thought nearly impossible and was going to drive me mad.
I am looking forward to this new year. As a student my year begins with each fall. Winter is the middle of my year. I have much I want to accomplish this year. Wish me luck!
