[Oh, he's interested alright.

Except he's actually heading to the flower shop too for a good reason. He'll explain, really! Spoiler: It's family related. coughfinlandcoughdenmarkcough]

[The first day, he buys violets. He clearly has no idea what he's doing picking out flowers, so he just sort of wanders around the shop for a while until he settles on something at random.]

[He doesn't either, which is why he's just browsing everything in white, blue, or red. Once in awhile he glances at a yellow one.]

[Sort of lingers over the choice for a little while, muttering to himself.]

"Wonder if she'd like these..."

[Just barely, he picks up on the word 'she' and 'like'. There may or may not be a tiny little smirk tugging at his lips because ohhhh, Jecht likes someone? is his automatic thought. He shakes his head to rid himself of the expression however, arranging some of the flowers on the table and stepping back to get a better look at them. In the process, he knocks over an empty water can.]

[And of course, Jecht jerks his head around to the source of the noise. He just sort of freezes when he sees Norway standing there, staring for a moment before quickly looking back to the flowers.]

Ah, son of a bitch.

[He tenses up, glancing over towards Jecht.

Then to the lilies. Yeah. Finland would probably like those.]

...Fancy running into you here.

[Jecht's eye twitches a little as he looks down to the flowers in his hand.]

"...This ain't what it looks like."

...Same. [Maybe Denmark wouldn't even want flowers. Maybe he should just stick to apologizing to Finland-- Cheek scratch.]

I'm... Er... I'm only here to pick up something for a family member.

[Jecht decides to actually come clean with this one, since the truth will be far less embarrassing than what he's pretty sure Norway's thinking.]

"I'm visitin' a friend in the hospital."

...Got in a fight with a member of my family. Trying to cheer up my... Guy friend on top of that.

Your friend alright for the most part?

[Frowns.]

"She's pretty fucked up. Broken arm, couple of broken ribs... I got to her in time, but she's gonna be laid up for a while."

She'll be able to go home eventually. It'll be easier to visit her there. [A small pause.] ...Was it from those attacks going on recently?

...Beats me. Everything happened too fast for me to ask.

Seems like the whole town was turned upside down from that. [He offers a soft smile.] She'll get better with you taking care of her.

[Sort of brushes it off.]

"All I did was get her to the hospital. They did all the real work."
