[Anyone passing by 752 Partridge on Sunday will see Jecht lying face down in the middle of the beach on his front lawn. His entire body is more or less covered in scars - both the ones he got from working in the factories in Soviet Mayfield, as well as the ones he earned in Spira defending Lord Braska on the Pilgrimage. He's definitely breathing

Why does this keep happening to people I somewhat care about?
... oh look there's another corpse for my dinner. It can join the Justin and Liz and Giriko corpses. He's not dead? Hahaha what are you talking about... ... - so what's this about him still breathing?
STUPID HUMAN EMOTIONS s-sob I hate this - I hate us - I hate what I feel for you
Combine them together and you get a near-crazy Saya tearing towards Jecht the second she recognizes him. Do remember what happened last time she lost someone she likoved sorta actually cared about.]
Jecht!

Even more so...
She has no idea what to do. None.
Saya had never encountered a situation where she actually felt that she had to save somebody's life. The mentality of doing so does not exist to her. What do humans mean to her that she would willingly put in an effort to care whether they lived or passed on?

WHYYY
She's rolling him over so that he's on his side. Probably the best position. He won't risk smothering and he won't end up choking on his own blood or vomit. Now probably being able to hear him, she asks him again.]
Jecht?
I... it's Saya. What happened and what can I do?
[Straightforward like an arrow, even if her voice is trembling slightly.]

[There is unmistakable irritation in his voice, but also no small amount of shame. Now that he's lying on his side, Saya can clearly see that he's ripped open the wounds he got in the factory before. It's probably not too hard to figure out how.]
"It's just a scratch."

She will stare at him like he's some kind of imbecile. Had she been less attached, she would have actually asked "... so you want me to leave?" but Jecht - really?
... and anyway, it's not like he hasn't underestimated his own abilities before. No way she's taking his words at their face value.]
It's not just a scratch. This is from... oh god Jecht you still have those?
Can you sit up, at least?
Reply
"Just need to rest a little."

Looks around a bit. So the asshole wasn't dying. He just appeared to be dying. But if he was able to sit up and talk, then surely no amount of blood loss could be life-threatening, right?
HAHAHAHA]
Um - um -
We should really stop that bleeding.
If you don't want to call a doctor - at least you should go inside your house. Other people will see you and cause a big scene.
[Yes, she's using her knowledge of Jecht's antisocial behavior to lure him into his house where maybe she can stop him from dying.]

[Makes more uncomfortable grunty noises as he props himself up to his feet, walking slowly to the door. He very pointedly does not lean on Saya or make any moves to use her to prop himself up, because Jecht is nothing if not prideful to a fault. It's somewhat slow going, and blood drips from his open wounds as he walks, but he makes it inside. The first thing he does is flop down on the couch.]
"Shit..."

"Yuugi's prob'ly floatin' around somewhere. Prob'ly drunk."

And now Jecht's blood is staining the couch. Sterilization later, control the bleeding first. Saya brings over a stack of terry-cloth towels taken from the bathroom. Sits by him, folds a towel in half and places it on his chest. Her eyes look to him questioningly.]
Do you mind...?
['cause, you know, she's kinda touching you and all. Again.]

[His body and pride are both too injured for him to really care at this point, so he just keeps his eyes closed while Saya takes care of it. It's clearly bothering him that this sort of thing seems to be becoming a habit.]

... I'm surprised you haven't gone in shock. You lost at least two pints of blood, you know.

"I've had worse than this."

... what did you do to get yourself in this condition anyway?

Er, I mean, uh]
"...Training."
