Audiobooks were probably the best thing that happen to me this year. As it is possible to see, they greatly increased the amount of books read, saved me a ton of time and greatly improved my listening skills (which always sucked). Via Audible, they're a bit expensive, mostly due to currency conversion (though still on the average of a regular paperback copy in Brazil), but there are so many advantages in listening to audiobooks that it is actually worth the price I pay.

Still, I think I'm keeping a good average of over 30 books read (not counting audiobooks), both physical copies and eBooks.

I won't mention anything about games, since I have already talked about them in my previous posts.

As for series and movies, I've been buddy watching random Kamen Rider series and other things with tiuneo. I already got over the fact that I'm not the biggest fan of watching series. Same goes with movies. I did re-watch a couple of my favorite movies, but did not watch many new ones, even though I was relatively anxious to watch the book to movie adaptations that were released this year.

I never took note of this, but I also finished writing two stories. One of them is still being edited, the second one still needs to be typed. I do plan on self-publishing them eventually. With a bit of lucky, I'll have the first story up and running before April 2016!

Overall, 2015 was a very good year. I made a lot of slow, painful progress with my drawing skills (I really should post my drawings here more often). They're not perfect, but they're definitely better than they were last year. I also started studying French. Unfortunately, dropped my violin classes. I do take my violin out of the box every once in a while, but I had to make some tough decisions that can change the course of my life. I do have hopes of getting back to playing the violin.

I don't think I have any interesting New Year's resolutions. What I want for 2016 is no different from everything I wrote before: writing more, reading more, drawing more. Getting better at programming, improving my French skills. Nothing that can't be obtained with some effort from my part. In spite of some tough times and the economic crisis, we all managed to survive 2015! Yaai!

As for the monthly progress posts, I'm dropping them for now. I might think of something else to replace those monthly posts or just post them all at once by the end of the year. I'm not sure, I have lots of things in my mind! My plan is to keep the Monday random posts as they are and, hopefully, I'll be able to find new things to talk about on a weekly base.

Just to wrap things up, if you've been reading the randoms things that I've been writing during this year, happy new year!
