Games I played vs. Games I bought
2014 just wasn't a good one for me to play video games. I fell into a gaming slump that wasn't very typical. Add that to the complete lack of time because of a post-grad that made me lose my motivation to do pretty much anything and you have a... not very productive year for me. At least in terms of video games. In fact, the gaming slump was so bad that I wasn't even in the mood to play this year's Call of Duty game, which I usually love.
For someone who pretty much didn't play any video games, I acquired an absurd amount of games. I'd even say that with the games I got this year, I could spend at least five or six years without buying any game and still spend a lot of time playing different games.
In my defense, majority of the games I acquired were given to me as gifts. Others were part of Humble Bundles that I got (aren't they great? You can get a dozen of game for a ridiculously cheap price). I'll bold all the ones I actually bought, but if I were to keep an account, I haven't been actually spending too much money in games. In fact, I believe I spent more money with books than with games this year.
