Yeah, yeah...

The winds have been changing; perhaps slowing down. Whether it's a good or bad thing is beyond me. I was kind of enjoying flying that kite, though. Oh well, one day the winds will pick up again.

This is completely random, but I feel like swimming right now. It just seems like the most logical and "free" thing to do. Actually, I have always been the big swimmer in the family. Not for racing or competition, but for fun. Anyone know how cold Lake Tahoe's water is? Trust me, it wasn't above 50 when this happened. Well, our family was rafting down a river coming from Tahoe, and I decided I wanted to swim. "No way, Heidi. That water is ice cold!" Heh, screw that. I jumped in and stayed until I was numb.

When the temp is above "freeze your ass off," I can get in the water and stay there for hours. Sometimes I pull myself to the bottom of the pool and look up at the surface, watching the exhaled air bubbles rise to the surface. Once, I was at the pool; our family went in the morning. By afternoon, everyone was ready to leave. I wasn't, of course; I wanted to stay. In fact, my family had a hard time getting me to leave before the pool closed. They all called me the "water bug". Good times. Maybe this summer on my cruise, I can pick up where I left off. I also plan to learn how to scuba-dive. :D

Back to reality...
Today I very suddenly decided to make a Relay for Life team. It needs to consist of 8-15 people; I'm planning on 10. If you've got a yearning to fight cancer, talk to me and I'll hook you up. You guys know how much it would mean to me. An average team's fundraising goal is one thousand dollars, but I'd like to times that by 5. One thousand for every time my mom's gone through cancer. How am I going to do it? Well, I plan on having a lot of fundraisers, and I'd also like to ask my aunt and uncle if they would like to get their business into it. They own a pizza chain in California. Oh, the possibilities!

Great thanks will be given to any and all donators, whether you donate your time, help, or money.

Dolphins. :)
