College problems, despairing -.-
UNFAIR. UNFAIR unfair unfair. DX I don't understand what's up with art colleges lately. I don't see why some representatives don't tell you all the extremely vital details. Good god.
I might as well trash that post I wrote a week back with all the portfolio requirements. The Art Institute of Dallas is a humongous black hole with alot of easy opportunity to get in, but then no real way out. Nonranting translation: the AI of Dallas is on probation for accreditation. It could easily be discredited by 2006, and I totally wouldn't have known that if it weren't for this guy in my Drawing I class at TCC who actually looked into it for me. DAMNIT DAMNIT DAMNIT. WHY WASN'T I told that?? THE REPRESENTATIVE DIDN'T SAY SHIT. I would've started up a semester and spent 10s of thousands of dollars worth of tuition payment and then ALL OF MY PARENTS FUCKING MONEY WOULD'VE BEEN EASILY CHUCKED, IT COULD EASILY LOSE IT'S ACCREDITATION ANY TIME. Damnit... What am I supposed to do now?
I want to go to a college where I can stay attached to the stuff I'm obsessed with, like Fullmetal Alchemist and games and anime. Is that too hopelessly optimistic in the US? Do I really need to move to Japan in order for that kind of career to happen?
